Familial Emotional Damage & Injured Family Dynamics

"Very good in so many ways, it it set in 1950's rural NSW, and revolves around a very rich family and the lengths the matriarch of the family goes to to uphold the family's social standing. Addresses themes of class discrimination, racism, homosexuality (and how utterly TERRIBLY homosexual people were treated including confronting scenes involving medical treatment etc). Such a pertinent portrayal of the denial of truth, the lengths people will go to (especially within a family dynamic) to 'protect' the truth and the damage this does."
