'Global' or 'Group Mentality' & Sin

Post by Mary » Sun Nov 08, 2015 11:56 pm

In this thread you can share movies that caused you to feel about issues relating to 'Global Sin'

This may be movies that highlight:

- actions taken by a group of people that demonstrate their collective sinful condition
- justification and allowance of sin by a large group of people, a society or on a global scale
- group dynamics effected by an event or circumstance that triggers fear or grief

etc

Film Documentary The Red Pill ( Gender Politics)

"A feminist film maker looking at the clash between women's rights/ the feminism movement and the response from men's activists and how men now feel victimised. It also charts the film makers transformation as she hears men's view of the world. It's reported that the funding for the film started to dry up as support for a balanced honest look at gender issues did not attract grants and people withdrew as they did not want to be seen as sympathising with the men's movement."

"Australian movie that brought up emotions for me about what people would do if there was no law."

"It picks up around 5-10 years after earth changes, when worldly conditions are in a pretty baron state. The main relationship throughout the movie resembles that of an estranged father and son, although the two aren't actually related. It's good in terms of demonstrating the levels of brutality men are willing to go to in order to get what they want."
