question on healing

I have a question on healing.

My pastor from Oklahoma preached on divine healing and he preached that it is always God's will to heal a person they just have to have faith that God will heal them and confessed positive words over themselves and not negative words over themselves. He preached that life and death was in the power of the tongue Proverbs 18:21 that we can have what we say. If we say we are healed then we are healed if we say we are sick then we are sick. He had books and tapes on divine healing.

I believed him. I thought those who died of cancer just didn't have enough faith. Then he ended up dying from cancer. Did he have a lack of faith that caused him to die of cancer? It is hard to believe that someone who preached healing and wrote books on healing would have a lack of faith or was he wrong with what he taught. Is it God's will to heal some people and not God's will to heal some people?
