DT worthiness and Worthiness

Post by Vivi » Tue Apr 26, 2016 10:03 pm

My husband and I have been living in unworthiness our whole lives. Lately I've been allowing the awareness of this pain. I feel this emotional pain inside of my heart and pretty much my whole torso.

My husband and I think that in all of us the bottom emotion of all is this big unworth feeling. Examining that most of us (if not all) have been mistreated somehow as kids. Can't then we assume that the deep and maybe biggest emotion of all is this unworthy feeling?

If you have dealt with your unworthy feelings can you share how you went straight to this deep feeling?

Are there any Divine truths videos more specifically about how to feel our unworthy feelings?

For me, I feel this pain pulsating around my heart, stomach but I'm still quite scared of this feeling and it affected my whole life.

Hi Vivi

you can find a lot of discussion about the feeling of unworthiness in the assistance group material 2016. IT was often used as an example there.

Education In Love Group 1.1 - Developing My Will To Love
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... unY2BZEOek
Education In Love Group 1.2 - Developing My Will To Love
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... 0cY4KVNvi5

also there is the following presentation that is also related:
https://www.youtube.com/user/divinetrut ... y=unworthy

Jesus on When a Child is Not Loved

Also can I recommend that you can search any of the Divine Truth YouTube channels for answers using the search function and entering a key word like shown in the image below.

Hope this is of help, cheers

Hey Vivi!

I'm doing some work on my "unworthiness" now, and I've found some resources that can help.

Listen to this section at 49:39: https://youtu.be/ShWR1T35wnw?t=49m39s

The notes are at the bottom of this document: https://divinetruth.com/www/en/devices/ ... %20Q&A.pdf

Main Points:
  • -“Unworthy” is a false belief (not causal), so you can’t process it.
-We cannot process unworthiness emotionally without first feeling how we have been treated as children
by others; we need to remember and feel about these events.
-You need to focus on the reason why you feel unworthy, which is how you’ve been treated by somebody
-work through how you’ve been treated
-you can get angry about how you’ve been treated
-but if you buy into the belief that you’re unworthy, you’ll keep reinforcing it
    -Someone made us feel unworthy
-What did they do to us to make us feel unworthy?
-These emotions are the emotions we must access and experience
Jesus also talks a lot about unworthiness in this document: https://www.divinetruth.com/www/en/pdf/ ... estion.pdf

I have some quotes from that document as well if you'd like them. Here are two helpful ones:
The actual emotions of low self-worth have been created by people who are morally bad and unloving treating the child in a manner that attempts to gain power and control over the child using manipulative, coercive, and even violent means. Any person with low self-worth will NOT release causal emotion until they realize that they did NOT deserve the treatment that morally bad and unloving people engaged towards them. They must begin to accept emotionally that the treatment that they received at the hands of people who wanted power and control over them is the REAL reason why they now feel bad about themselves.
They must come to accept that the treatment they received was unwarranted, undeserved, and unnecessary, and was only caused by the "bad" moral and unloving spiritual condition of the people who wanted power and control over them (their parents or caregivers). When the person with poor self-worth begins to work through the truth of the situation, they then will be able to release the feelings and emotions relating to the fact that they did not deserve this treatment, and that God loves them even though other people in their childhood did not.
Let me know if you want to discuss further as I'm going through this right now as well.
